Award-winning interior designer (and former Minnesota resident, hailing from Hopkins) Nate Berkus and The Tile Shop launched an exclusive 23-piece tile collection on August 27. The debut marks Berkus’ first-ever tile line.

“Tile has told our story for centuries,” says Berkus, who leads Nate Berkus Associates, with office locations in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York. “I wanted to design a collection that honors that history while giving people the freedom to create homes that evolve and grow with them over time. The spaces I love most never feel tied to a particular trend or moment—they feel personal, layered, and lasting. My hope is that these tiles give you a starting point to tell your own story.”

Berkus’ illustrious career has included numerous television shows and home collections, along with designing award-winning interiors. It’s experience that, according to The Tile Shop’s Senior Director of Design and Product Development Kirsty Froelich, has helped Berkus design homes that feel meaningful and enduring, which is a guiding principle of the collection.

“This collection reflects that philosophy, offering customers materials and patterns inspired by history, while providing the versatility to make every space their own,” she says.

The Tile Shop x Nate Berkus Collection Details

Designed to work together across rooms and applications, the collection allows homeowners to layer materials, combine patterns, and create spaces with a cohesive palette and point of view. It draws from European architecture, historic interiors, and centuries-old tile traditions, and features porcelain tile, marble mosaics, decorative patterns, and authentic kiln-fired brick. The unifying palette of the collection consists of charcoal, terra cotta, and warm white tones.

The collection includes:

  • Lagos, a foundational porcelain series designed to coordinate throughout the collection and serve as the basis for countless design combinations.
  • Avenue and Eloise, mosaic designs inspired by classic French entryways and historic Parisian cafes.
  • Chateau Brick, authentic kiln-fired clay brick inspired by the warmth and character of European chateaus.
  • Valencia and Isabel, geometric designs informed by Spanish and Portuguese architectural traditions.
  • Etoile, Honore, and Estrela, decorative patterns inspired by archival French and Mexican tile motifs.

The Tile Shop x Nate Berkus is available now exclusively through The Tile Shop’s nationwide showroom network and at tileshop.com.
